Wonderful Wednesday !

Gordy & Larue high up on ladder & scaffolding. They were finishing up odds & ends on the exterior of Danny's house.
The soffit they put up is made out of cement board. It had to be drilled then nailed. These guys had a tough day.
Here is the 1st coat of Yellow paint going on
Danny's house. The girls couldn't wait to see what it was going to look like. It's Pretty !

2 teams met at Gordy's job to unload drywall. I think there were about 50 sheets of 5/8 "and another 100 of 1/2" & 30 of green board.

The guys hustled getting it off the trailer so we could drive the 50 mins back to our "real" job.
Which by the way is starting to take shape...finally. We have 3 ceilings complete & almost 2 rooms of walls...YEAH !

Chloe here. Henry and I spent the day digging ditches and building a platform for the meter reader to be able to read the meter. At some point there will also be a well pump on the platform. Henry declined the offer for me to help in the ditch. Of course, I didn't fight him on that decision. I really made him work today. See - "Pull that wire Henry!" Actually, it was our co-worker Darryl that had him saying,"Whew, you really worked me hard!" Rest well for another day of hard work, Henry!
