Terrific Tuesday

Gordy & Larue pictured here putting in porch posts. That Gordy is one of the hardest working 77 year olds I know. He also has a heart of Gold. We all love our Gordy! Larue is this giant of a guy - 6' 6", who also has this giant tender spirit. It is great getting to know him. Him & Gordy each give 110% on the job, and you can tell they love what they are doing.

Henry & Chloe have been a team this week. They also had an electrician named Darryl from the Tennessee team working with them. They have been trouble shooting some elec problems. They have figured out several problems already and will start building a platform tomorrow so the well pump & Elec meter will be accessable.
Soon Chloe will be able to wire a house on her own. That Henry is a good teacher.

Henry became a GRANDFATHER at 2:00pm today. Keep both mommy & baby (Elizabeth 3-lbs) in your prayers.

Gongrats Henry & Regina !!

Oh....that metal stud drywall job went much easier today with the generator & corded drills. We had "torque"...and lots of noise. We may get this job done after all.
Tonight we had 2 home owners join us for dinner, as well BJ & Michelle Cooper who shared their Katrina story with us once again. Many of you may remember them. They live in a log cabin and some of us visited them on prior trips.
What a story of God's goodness and a couples gratitude to those who have helped them rebuild their home & their lives.
